I am a preschool teacher. I teach the 3 year old children which means they turn 3 before August 31 before entering my class each year. This year I have a boy not diagnoised with any disability, but he fidgets alot and is distracting to the oter children. This also lands him in time-out alot. He is a good little boy and I want to help him with this with out punishing him. Do you think this book could help me with this age group and do you have any ideas in the meantime?

Thanks,
Ms Vickie

I happened upon this while searching for some medical journal articles on the link between Adult ADHD and misdiagnosed narcolepsy. I have severe, legitimately diagnosed ADHD from childhood that has carried over into adulthood. I am 24 now, and starting when I was 23 began falling asleep whenever tasked with any activity that is repetitive, requires attentiveness, or that seems mundane. Basically, any activity that does not require me to hyperfocus will cause me to fall asleep. This includes driving. Give me my sketchbook and I am fine through lectures, although I struggle without being on a stimulant regimen. The link between ADHD and the narcoleptic symptoms is there, you just have to search for it. It is very real, and it is not narcolepsy. I've talked to several GP's and my psychiatrist, all of whom agree that narcolepsy is not conditional upon what you are doing. After a six year hiatus from stimulants, I'm going back to avoid dying in a car wreck when I fall asleep on the highway. I have trouble sleeping at night and trouble waking in the morning.

We are selling online now. Our website has undergone extensive remodeling, but we are working to make it better, easier to use and more helpful.

I purchased some highlighted bookmarkers from you and my 8 yr old son seems to think they help. He told his teacher about them and I sent this teacher and the resourse teacher (who works with children and their reading) your website information. However when I went on the website I could not find a "catalog" or the links to go to to see your products. I was wondering if a teacher would want to buy in "bulk" if they would get a discount.

My son struggles with reading, spelling, he is very active, I think he gets distracted. We had him tested for ADHD and the Dr. said if he was in a room with 40 kids with ADHD he'd be the next in line. Don't know what exactly that means, assume it means he is close to being ADHD. Anything in particular that you could suggest?

Also I have a daughter who has low muscle tone and when she writes the lead comes out on the paper pretty light. Wondering if you had anything to help with that. She is also musically inclined, didn't know if you had anything to do with music.

Thanks,
Jerri Witchey
