This is an interview with Christine Field, author of Homeschooling the Challenging Child. Christine has wisdom and experience that she shares freely to help those who are facing learning and behavioral challenges with their children. Though years may pass between our meetings, it is always wonderful to reconnect with Christine. We were able to grab a few minutes during a recent conference to do this video interview. You can see Christine’s book here: Homeschooling the Challenging Child
I hope that you enjoy the interview, and I encourage you to visit Christine’s web site for more resources at www.homefieldadvantage.org

Okay, Melinda where did you find our mutually shared twin? I just recently heard of Christine, because she will be in Cincinnati. I thought do I want to see her or listen, because I have seen your workshops and know I live it daily, would she have anything I could take away from her workshop? Well, I may just pay one of her workshops a visit, I think she is voicing my thoughts to many people whom wonder how and why we do and manage to keep doing what we do. I think we were separated at birth the three of us. Or maybe our mothers were in the same hospital at the same time giving birth and God made us soul sisters. I do not know just grasping at straws here. 🙂
Thank you for the interview and the website.
Hi Becca,
I think you will find you have a lot in common with Christine. Her workshops are practical and encouraging, and she is a Mom who’s been there. In many ways she is still on this challenging journey of parenting and homeschooling, yet she continues to educate herself and find what works while remaining faithful to her Christian beliefs and educational philosophies. If you get to hear her speak at the conference, you will not be disappointed. Good to hear from you, sister-friend! 🙂
