These videos are a multi-sensory presentation to aid in memorizing math facts. Individual tapes are available for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and addition. Each tape comes with a teacher's guide and a booklet that includes reproducible pages for written drills and practice. Each math fact "family" has its own song and movement, and the math sentences are shown across the top of the screen as the Can-Do Kids perform. Math vocabulary is also taught throughout the tapes. These videos are appropriate for visual, auditory, and tactile-kinesthetic learners. These tapes are excellent for the child who needs to be in motion, since they can exercise with the tapes and work on math facts at the same time. The opening song on each video has the Can-Do Kids singing that they "can do all things through Christ".

  Are your students struggling to remember the basic math facts? Are you ready to try something that really works? These kits were developed to meet a demand for different ways to teach students the basic math facts. Using pictures and stories to associate a mental image with the math fact, this system caters to students who learn differently.

  In 1992, the authors completed an initial study of twenty-two students from eleven schools, teaching four different facts to each student. Two facts were taught with conventional repetition and two facts with the pictures and stories. After one week, the picture and story facts were recalled an average of 95% of the time while the average score on the conventionally learned facts was only 62%.
